Everyone has the right to work in an environment where they are respected, valued and feel safe. Any form of discrimination or harassment is unacceptable from a moral and legal standpoint and yet it still goes on in some organisations. People cannot make their best contribution if they are working in fear of harassment or bullying. The impact of this behaviour can be catastrophic for individuals.
This course helps participants to recognise how small everyday acts of interaction (micro-behaviours) can support a culture where harassment and bullying can go unchallenged and potentially be excused as “just banter”.The workshop will help learners understand the impact of behaviours on colleagues, teams and the business whilst equipping them with skills to challenge them when they are encountered. The legal aspects and repercussions of harassment in the workplace are explored.
