COURSE OVERVIEW 

Anti-Racism in the Workplace

During this course attendees will gain an understanding of the various forms of racism and how to identify it, awareness of racial bias and the impact it has on people and organisations. This course also provides explores skills and builds confidence to challenge bias, have constructive conversations about racism and put plans in to action for personal and organisational change.

This course is applicable to anyone who wants to:

• Increase their own awareness
• Be better equipped to have uncomfortable conversations
• Feel more confident at challenging behaviour

Course Content

• Understand own bias around racial and other stereotypes
• Understand the the cycle of socialisation and its impact on society
• Understand the impacts of privilege, recognise own privilege
• How to be an ambassador for change
• Understand and engage with bias limiting techniques
• Recognising and combatting micro-behaviours and micro aggressions
• How to be an Ally

This runs as an online or face-to-face course for a specific company.
